VX3 Support CPGA

We are celebrating a new partnership with the sports apparel company VX3.

VX3 are based in Paignton, Devon and provide kit and clothing for a myriad of club and individual sports. A number of our member gig clubs are already proponents of their sports wear and we are delighted to be partnering with them.

Joel Ashworth, VX3 Partnership Coordinator, expressed his enthusiasm, By supporting the CPGA, we aim to help contribute to the rapid growth and development of the sport. Teamwork, resilience, hard work and passion, are values that are shared by both the gig rowing cand VX3. We are excited to be partnering with the CPGA with its 90 member clubs. As a company, we are proud to support our local clubs and look forward to working closely with the CPGA during the coming year.”

Claire Tripp, General Manager, added, “Our volunteers are vital in delivering events and running the whole sport. This kit will help event participants and members of the public identify our team and hopefully keep our volunteers warm and dry during another British summer!

VX3’s long standing relationship with the sport inspired them to reach out and support gig clubs within the community.

VX3 already has strong ties to the sport,” explained Ashworth. “With around 10 clubs across Devon and Cornwall using our kit, we are proud to be part of this close-knit community. Many of our employees have experience in gig rowing, and have family members who are dedicated members at local gig clubs, including Dart, Paignton, and Brixham.”

Jade Colton, Communications and Marketing Officer for the Cornish Pilot Gig Association, shared her positive experience with VX3, stating, “Joel and the team have been incredibly supportive in helping to kit out our team. Their knowledge of the sport has already proved invaluable in our collaboration and will be greatly beneficial to the organisation moving forward.”
