The CPGA is seeking 2 volunteers to join the Board of Trustees who identify with the principles and mission of the CPGA and share its values.
The Trustee role is voluntary and so it is not a paid position, however reasonable expenses for travel and subsistence can be reimbursed.
Trustees, are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the CPGA, developing its aims, objectives and goals in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
Norma Edwards, Trustee, said “My time as a Trustee is coming to an end and I am keen to spend the remainder of this year handing over my responsibilities to and sharing my experience with new Trustees. It has been an absolute privilege to have seen the sport change and grow over the years and I look forward to seeing new Trustees rise to the challenge of supporting our gig rowing community into the future.”
Trustees will be voted in by Full Member Clubs and will preferably serve a term of at least one year in their position. All terms of office are for at least two years, and there is scope for a trustee to serve for more than one term of office, as per the terms set out in the constitution.
