HLF Project Manager – Pulling the Past Together

The CPGA is recruiting a Project Manager to deliver a new initiative. Applicants should submit their application form with a cover letter and CV by 1st March 2018. (Please note the amended date of the 1/3/18, from the previous 26/2/18)

The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the ‘Pulling Together The Past’ project over a period of 18 months. They will manage project budgets and grant draw-down, equipment purchase and the contracting of services. They will also oversee the delivery of activities involving the public, including a large-scale volunteer programme. They will coordinate a programme for digitization of analogue and curation of born-digital archival resources and create an archive relating to Cornish Pilot Gig rowing.

The CPGA is launching ‘Pulling Together The Past’; a £82,454 project supported by Heritage Lottery Fund and other funders to greatly increase public access to heritage material relating to Cornish Pilot Gig rowing. Cornish Pilot Gig rowing has a rich cultural heritage and wealth of traditions that are recorded in documents, artefacts, film, photographs and audio recordings . The project will bring together materials currently held in disparate and diverse locations and share the story of our boats and communities.
